…well kind of, welcome to the blog about WeAll.com where we hope to keep you updated on whats happening around the office and where we are at with the development of the site.“How very rude of me, I havent introduced myself… my name is Hoxton and I am the Business Development Manager for a company called ANYwebcam.com.”
ANYwebcam.com (or AWC as it is known by our members) has been around for over 7 years now and is arguably the worlds largest webcam chat community on the internet with just shy of 4 million members worldwide. Members socialize on the site in a number of different ways such as message boards, profiles, photo / video galleries, as well as using our custom built live tools including webcams and chat - the current buzz words used for sites like ours are “Social Networking” or “Web 2.0″ or “User Generated Content”, however in starting this venture 7 years ago we just wanted to create a place “where people could meet people”.

ANYwebcam.com grew slowly over the first couple of years and we were happy for the site to grow organically and allow the members to steer the direction of the site, basically we sat back and concentrated on what we knew best which was technology. Fast forward to today, and we have seen a number of interesting things happen and have obtained knowledge about managing an online community for the masses. With this knowledge we now feel ready to help our members grow this amazing community, and the first thing to happen is to take away the focus from the technologies we use and firmly position the community as a place about people. So the community that has been so good to us in the past called ANYwebcam.com will become WeAll.com

WeAll.com a name that sparks the idea of everyone, all of us, we are all here.
The process of transitioning to a new name goes beyond branding, and we will be re-developing the site structure, features and underlying technologies to provide a modern online society that will see us provide a superior user experience well into the future.
WeAll.com will continue to allow the people to drive the community and will provide tools for individuals to customize their experience. Member created groups attracting like minded individuals will help develop sub-communities in the overall WeAll.com society. More modern fluid browsing of photo / video galleries will provide easy access to the growing library of over 10 million media uploads, and of course updated live communication tools will ensure existing and new members will get to enjoy the face to face experience that originally helped form the community.
